Job Description

We are seeking a professional to lead our property and asset management services, providing exceptional customer service and managing a team of experts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of repairs and asset management services.
  • Manage and lead a team responsible for property and asset management.
  • Develop and implement an asset management strategy.
  • Appoint and oversee contractors for responsive repairs, cyclical, and planned maintenance programs.
  • Provide technical advice on property matters across the organization.
Key Areas of Focus:
  • Operations – Asset Management & Response Maintenance
  • Deliver high-quality responsive repairs service.
  • Develop performance and monitoring systems and processes for Repairs, Maintenance, and cyclical Service KPIs.
  • Lead operational and commercial performance of all asset management activities.
  • Lead procurement activities for asset management.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Lead in developing the environmental and sustainability agenda.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date stock data and knowledge.
  • Identify and implement specific projects involving assets.
  • Provide technical assistance to colleagues as required.
  • Support audit requirements both internal and external.
Leadership / People Management:
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business and teams.
  • Promote a culture that delivers excellence and meets organizational vision and mission.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of operational aspects of the business.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Specialized knowledge related to building surveying, contract management, and building pathology.
  • Evidence of successful project management experience.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance within facilities management and construction settings.
  • Effective communication and IT skills.
  • Ability to develop productive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing a team successfully.
