Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Neuroendocrinology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology and endocrinology, with excellent clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

They will also be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field, apply evidence-based practice, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration as a registered nurse/midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
  • Minimum 1 year post-registration experience in a specialist area of neuroendocrinology
  • Post-registration programme of study in a relevant specialty
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
