Financial Systems Professional

Barden is seeking a seasoned Financial Systems Analyst to fill a 12-month contract position.

This role will play a critical part in ensuring the integrity, functionality and development of financial systems across the wider finance function.

  • Lead system enhancements, upgrades and integration initiatives as the finance representative.
  • Optimise financial systems (including SAP BYD and Concur) to strengthen integrations, enable system improvements and enhance reporting for Financial Control and FP&A teams.
  • Partner with IT and other departments to ensure systems align effectively with business processes and requirements.
  • Deliver training and support to finance and non-finance teams on system capabilities and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain automated financial reports and dashboards to support informed management decision-making.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities by ensuring accuracy and completeness of system-generated financial data.
  • Assist with financial reconciliations, journal entries and reporting as needed.
  • Document finance system processes and controls to promote compliance and standardisation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency through automation and the adoption of best practices.
