Fund Accounting Professional

The role involves working closely with finance teams and other senior personnel, providing expertise in fund accounting on various projects and engagements. This includes producing NAVs, supporting clients in system migration efforts, and taking on new funds within their environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expertise in fund accounting on various projects and engagements.
  • Producing NAVs and supporting clients in system migration efforts.
  • Improving clients' NAV production and other fund administration-related processes.
  • Reconciling Prime Broker, Custodian or other Counterparty data to clients' fund administration systems.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff members.
  • Developing materials for clients' benefit relating to engagements.
  • Acting as an SME in areas of prior experience.

Requirements:

  • A deep understanding of the fund accounting and general fund administration functions within the asset management sector.
  • Strong experience in the asset management space, particularly in fund administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to various working environments.
  • Experience in a variety of fund types / structures such as mutual funds, UCITs, ICAVs, Private equity, REITs, SPVs, Hedge Funds.
  • Financial Reporting knowledge and experience would be beneficial.

  • Has strong communication skills, good report writing, and excel skills.
  • Is a mature and confident person with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Can work on their own initiative but knows when to seek assistance.
