Job Overview

The Company Accountant will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions, including month-end management accounts, maintaining debtors and creditors ledgers, budgeting/cashflows, VAT/payroll returns, and managing the external audit process.

This is a hands-on role where you will play a central part in the company, handling queries from other stakeholders and managers within the business from a finance perspective.

You will report directly to the Directors of the Company and have one direct report within the finance function.

Requirements for Success

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a fully qualified accountant or have equivalent experience.

Ideally, you will have several years of industry experience and exposure to GL/financial accounting processes.

You will also require excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.

This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional seeking a challenging yet rewarding position within an SME environment.
