Job Title: Financial Analyst

The role of a Financial Analyst at an organization is to play a crucial part in the commercial finance function.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning and managing month-end accounts, P&L, Balance Sheet, and financial reporting for multiple cost centers.
  • Preparing and completing monthly performance reporting packs for management with analysis of performance across various principal accounts, highlighting variances, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Providing revenue and margin reports and analytics by product, business unit, and customer.
  • Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA) with FMCG experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Order to cash process experience is critical.
  • Experience in deploying and developing ERP platforms (Microsoft AX or SAP).
  • Process improvement experience that can add automated processes improving accuracy & consistency through the P&L and Balance Sheet.

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience of preparing sets of management accounts and Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate up, across, and down the organization across multiple disciplines including operations, field sales, promotional & marketing, and commercial teams as well as externally with customers and principals.
  • Analytical with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
