Production Technician
About the Role
A Production Technician is required to join a busy environment in Kerry. This full-time, permanent position involves working with large volumes produced 24/7 using injection moulding, silicone moulding, and automated assembly.
The successful candidate will support the smooth operation of production machines on the shift, troubleshoot and fine-tune processes, and remove and set up moulds in machines while adhering to documented specifications.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the smooth operation of the production department during the shift, contributing positively to company performance in areas of Output, Quality, Safety, People Management, and Cost, and assisting the Shift Production Supervisor to maximize production output and manufacture products to quality standards.
This role requires strong technical skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide the team towards achieving company goals.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar manufacturing position within a busy environment.
- Relevant technical qualifications (QQI Level 6, Diploma, or equivalent in engineering, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing disciplines) are desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in GMP regulated environments is desirable.
- Bachelor understanding of injection moulding, silicone moulding, or automated assembly processes is desirable.
Please note that all candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland.
