Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality requirements and standards are met within manufacturing departments.

The ideal candidate should have strong planning, scheduling, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to ensure all required inspections are completed on time.

Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a proven ability to build, manage and maintain relationships at all levels.

The successful candidate will consistently deliver a high standard of service and be able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet ongoing deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality requirements and standards are met within manufacturing departments
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Investigate quality/production issues in a professional and diligent manner
  • Develop, optimize systems, equipment to suit our quality, manufacturing processes
  • Strive to drive continuous improvement within the fabrication departments
  • Assist in setting up and executing alignment, measurement and inspection within steel fabrication departments
  • Develop, prepare and maintain systems and records of control processes

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum level 2 (ISO 9712) UT and MPI qualification
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering is advantageous
  • Experience in a heavy steel construction environment is desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Packages: Word, Access, Powerpoint, Excel
