Senior Compliance Officer Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join their team. As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company's compliance program is effective and efficient in achieving its objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, develop and implement policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements;
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to demonstrate compliance;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures;
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance matters;
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry developments;

Requirements:

  • University degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant field such as law, business, or finance;
  • At least 1-3 years' experience in a compliance role, preferably in a financial services industry;
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment;
