Renewable Energy EHS Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to lead our renewable energy initiatives. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS management systems, with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective EHS programs to ensure compliance with government regulations and company standards. This includes:

  • Developing accurate operational procedures, training materials, and EHS-related policies;
  • Coodinating internal EHS auditing and inspection activities, ensuring actions are tracked to closure;
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation and company technical standards regarding contractor management;

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing technical activities to progress projects and investigations;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Level 7 EHS qualification;
  • Experience in EHS Management Systems;
  • A construction background is preferred;
  • Good communication skills.
