As a skilled mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Your skills in tyre work, brake servicing, exhaust systems, and MOT standards are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair various vehicle systems, including tyres, suspension, brakes, exhausts, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid top-ups, filter replacements, and tyre rotations.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot engine, transmission, and electronic faults.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and manage inventory stock levels.
You will be working closely with customers and reception staff to explain issues and solutions clearly and professionally.
Requirements- Qualified mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with tyre work, brake servicing, exhaust systems, and MOT standards.
- Holds a full clean driver's licence.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to occasionally work early mornings or urgent weekend slots.
