Electrical Engineer Role

Our company seeks talented Graduate Engineers to design new electrical systems, conduct tests, and manage projects.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for electrical engineering to work on various projects across different areas of the business, including renewable energy, power systems, and automation and controls.

As a Graduate Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and acquire a broad range of skills and experience as your career progresses. Our goal is to develop engineering excellence, and we offer a comprehensive training program that includes workshops, site visits, and coaching from senior personnel.

The role provides essential engineering, communications, and project delivery skills that are transferrable across any engineering project. You will also have the opportunity to progress your career and be involved in various business sectors to provide experience across a wide range of projects.

  • Design and Development: Assist senior engineers with designing new electrical systems or components for various applications.
  • Testing and Analysis: Conduct tests on electrical equipment and systems to ensure they meet safety and performance standards. Analyse test data and troubleshoot any problems that arise.
  • Project Management: Support other members of our engineering teams with managing electrical engineering projects. This could involve tasks like preparing reports, creating schedules, and assisting with cost estimates.
  • Automation and Controls: Work on designing and implementing control systems.
  • Power Systems: Contribute to projects involving power generation, transmission, or distribution systems.
  • Renewable Energy: Participate in the development and implementation of renewable energy technologies.

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree: Hons Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical, Energy Systems, or a similar discipline relevant to the specification above.
  • Post-graduate Experience: 0-2 years of experience.
  • Computer Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Academic Record: Good academic record.
  • Driving License: Full clean driving license and own transport required.
  • Language: Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
