Gate Attendant Role

We are seeking a professional Gate Attendant to join our esteemed team at Ashford Castle. As a 800-year-old castle with a rich history, we offer world-class amenities and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal with all arrivals and departures to the estate in a friendly and efficient manner, promoting positive guest relations on the entrance & exits to the estate at all times.
  • Support the reception & porterage team as required, providing the Guest with the highest levels of guest care and personal attention.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and initiate actions to exceed expectations where possible.
Requirements:
  • A friendly & outgoing personality.
  • A full, clean Irish driving licence.
  • Enthusiasm & flexibility (may need to work 5 days over 7 day period, inclusive of some weekends & Bank holidays).
  • Strong communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working in hospitality, desired but not essential.
  • Licence to work in Ireland.
  • The ability to handle busy situations and manage your workload effectively.
