A Head of Compliance and Risk is required by our client, a leading global specialty insurance and reinsurance company, to fill their interim leadership position in Dublin.

The successful candidate will serve as a critical member of the Compliance team, reporting to the Global Head of Compliance and holding the PCF-12 function. This position involves serving as the primary point of contact for the Central Bank of Ireland on all compliance-related matters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer professional advice and support to the Board, management team, and employees on regulatory requirements under different jurisdictions.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Submission of responses to CIFA notices will be managed in collaboration with underwriters.
  • Day-to-day compliance activities and business queries will require attention.
  • Expert regulatory and compliance advice will be provided in relation to strategic and business matters.
  • As the primary point of contact for the Central Bank of Ireland, this includes preparing and submitting notifications and returns, responding to inquiries, and coordinating reviews.
  • Oversee the management of global insurance licenses and maintain these licenses through regular updates.
