Adventure Management Role

We seek an experienced professional to assume the leadership of our Adventure Department.

The successful candidate will oversee and direct the operations, ensuring a safe, successful, and profitable experience for our guests.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies to drive effective management of the Adventure Department.
  • Manage the recruitment, training, performance, and development of the Adventure team.
  • Oversee and deliver training standards while maintaining qualifications in specialist activity areas.
  • Plan and execute outdoor activity programmes for guests.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, risk assessments, equipment checks, and incident records.
  • Monitor weather and environmental conditions to ensure guest and staff safety.
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives.
  • Build relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and experience in various outdoor activities, with at least two relevant instructorships.
  • Up-to-date First Aid certification.
  • Previous management experience in a similar adventure/outdoor role.
  • Desirable: Third-level qualification in business management, outdoor education, or sports-related discipline.
  • Hospitality or adventure industry experience.
