Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical examinations and accurate diagnoses
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient
  • Communicate clearly, compassionately, and professionally with pet owners
  • Collaborate closely with veterinary colleagues and support staff to ensure excellent patient care

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Surgeon with the Veterinary Council of Ireland
  • Demonstratable experience in first opinion practice; this role is not suitable for new graduates or those requiring support with routine general practice work
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
  • Flexibility and ability to collaborate effectively within diverse team environments
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive
