Network Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products through system testing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network technologies, including layer 2 and layer 3 protocols, as well as experience with Linux tools and scripting languages.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and expectations.
  • Design and implement network topologies to test use cases.
  • Configure hardware and software to emulate real-world environments.
  • Execute exhaustive test plans to identify potential weaknesses and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in review sessions to provide feedback and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in telecommunications, computer engineering, or computer networking.
  • 10+ years of experience working on complex end-to-end networks, including design and hands-on tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, including IP forwarding, OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, MPLS, EVPN, ECMP, VRRP, STP, RSTP, MST, PVST+, Ethernet link aggregation, LACP, etc.
  • Familiarity with Linux tools, such as ping, traceroute, tcpdump, ifconfig, ip link, ip route, arp, /proc/net, /proc/sys/net, vmstat, netstat, ttcp, iperf, strace, etc.
  • Some familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python or TCL.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong drive to improve quality and curiosity to learn new technologies.
