Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. They will also possess a strong understanding of the principles of person-centered support and be able to adapt their approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality support to individuals with autism, promoting independence and community participation.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, and carers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centered plans, ensuring that the needs of each individual are met.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes for service users.

Requirements:

  • Awareness of Key Worker/Support Worker Role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
  • Possession of a strong understanding of autism and its impact on individuals and communities.
