Job Title

A key role exists within a dynamic organization to lead and manage a trading team.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in electricity and gas markets, with a strong numeric and analytical background. They will be responsible for leading the team in optimizing trading positions, maintaining and developing prompt trading systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

They will also engage positively with counterparties, foster collaborative relationships, and proactively support and develop the capabilities of the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • Extensive experience/knowledge of Electricity and Gas markets and associated commodity markets
  • Strong numeric and analytical background with attention to detail
  • Proven stakeholder management skills at peer level and senior levels of the business
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, taking ownership of work/projects and motivating team members
  • 3rd level qualification in suitable Business, Science or Engineering degree or equivalent work experience is required
