Secure Authentication Solutions - Engineer Wanted

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team and help us deliver secure and scalable authentication solutions.

The Job Description

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on integrating, managing, and modernizing authentication controls in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for delivering secure SSO and MFA solutions across internal applications using PingFederate and Microsoft Entra ID.

Your tasks will include integrating and supporting SSO, implementing and troubleshooting authentication flows, and advising on modern access control strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate and support SSO using PingFederate and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Implement and troubleshoot authentication flows, including client credentials and token-based access for APIs.
  • Advise on modern access control strategies, MFA injection points, token lifecycle management, and serverless authentication scenarios.
  • Conduct security testing, validate flows, and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Distribute secure solutions to application owners and resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' experience with SSO integration & support.
  • Full stack development experience (front end and back end).
  • Experience with Python, C++, Java/J2EE.
  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
  • Cybersecurity certification such as CISSP.
  • Deep expertise with PingFederate and PingAccess.
  • Strong understanding of SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, REST, SOAP.
  • Knowledge of MFA implementation and cloud directory services like Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
  • Solid foundation in networking, OS, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with security testing frameworks and tools.

Bonus Points

If you have additional experience with Git or other similar technologies, it would be a plus.
