Project Manager Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager Quantity Surveyor to lead the delivery of our construction projects from start to finish. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the successful completion of large-scale construction projects valued over €10m
  • Lead a team of junior staff to ensure project milestones are met, foster a collaborative work environment, and promote effective communication among team members
  • Manage costs, finalize project accounts, and oversee subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, drive business growth, and improve operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field such as construction management or civil engineering
  • At least 10 years' experience working for a main contractor, preferably in a senior quantity surveyor or project manager role
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams to achieve project goals
  • Able to work effectively at all levels, from site managers to executive directors, and possess strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Strong focus on client satisfaction, with the ability to understand and meet client needs, and build long-term relationships
