Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to take charge of bringing new products from the RFQ stage through to full production.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with CNC machines and robotics, as well as experience in mentoring technicians. A level 7 Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent, is also required. In addition, at least 3 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and coordinate the RFQ process, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Lead the entire New Product Introduction process, from initial concept through to full production.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support product design and development phases.
- Identify and implement improvements within the production and NPI processes to enhance efficiency.
- Utilise Epicor ERP software to track project progress and maintain accurate documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong technical skills and knowledge of precision engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Experience with CAD software and engineering design tools is desirable.
