Quality Assurance Specialist

The primary function of this role is to ensure customer satisfaction through monitoring and controlling related customer processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of problem-solving techniques and be proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

About the Role:
  • This position involves supporting quality process definition, setup, verification, and improvements.
  • You will complete in-process testing on products and perform weekly leak and burst testing to ensure product sealing meets required specifications.
  • Verification of critical process parameters and line clearance activities are also key responsibilities.

Additionally, this Quality Assurance Specialist will conduct internal process audits to ensure conformance and effectiveness of the Quality System, support audits by demonstrating product testing requirements and best practices, and escalate quality issues where necessary.

Responsibilities:
  1. Define, set up, verify, and improve quality processes.
  2. Perform in-process testing on products.
  3. Complete weekly leak and burst testing on products.
  4. Verify critical process parameters and line clearance activities.
  5. Conduct internal process audits.
  6. Support audits.
  7. Evaluate and implement process improvements.
  8. Escalate quality issues.
  9. Review and approve environmental monitoring sampling results.
  10. Prepare and review sterile release packs.
  11. Conduct and verify releasing of sterile products.
  12. Support SMT line first-off verifications.
  13. Verify line clearance activities.
  14. Approve unplanned maintenance activities.
  15. Determine lot suitability for release.
  16. Review and approve Design History Records.
  17. Interact with manufacturing execution systems and Oracle Agile systems.
  18. Maintain workspace compliance.
  19. Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • A minimum NFQ Level 6 Certificate or Diploma in Science or Engineering, or sufficient job-related experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to write standard operating procedures and training documents.
