Job Title: Person in Charge

The Talbot Group aims to deliver exceptional quality person-centred care to residents, empowering them to have the best life possible and maximise their independence. We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team as a Person in Charge. The role requires providing services in line with our vision, mission, and values, focusing on delivering high-quality care to residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall service, ensuring the highest standards of service to residents and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and implement Talbot Group policies and procedures supporting best practice in disability services.
  • Report and respond to complaints in line with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, conducting appraisals and monthly team meetings.
  • Coordinate and prioritise appointments with the multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements:
  • QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or equivalent qualification in another relevant Allied Healthcare discipline.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the Health or Social Care sector.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
