Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of structural solutions for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. They will also oversee junior engineers, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure project delivery meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Skills
- Expertise in structural design principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Strong proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
- In-depth knowledge of European building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and develop junior engineers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and find creative solutions to engineering challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Chartered Engineer status (or close to achieving it) is preferred.
