Lead Data Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Data Strategist to spearhead the design and implementation of our data architecture and analytics framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Architecture Design:
    • Develop, maintain, and optimize data architecture and models supporting organizational goals, ensuring scalability and performance.
    • Design effective data flows and ETL processes for data integration from various sources.
  2. Data Management:
    • Implement and oversee data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
    • Monitor and resolve issues in data storage and database performance.
  3. Data Analysis:
    • Perform complex data analysis and reporting to support business initiatives, providing actionable insights.
    • Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate key metrics.
  4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work with IT, business units, and external partners to align data architecture with business needs.
    • Facilitate workshops to identify data requirements and strategies.
  5. Technology and Tools:
    • Stay updated on latest data technologies and best practices, recommending improvements.
    • Evaluate and implement data management and analytics tools.
  6. Documentation and Standards:
    • Maintain documentation of data architecture, policies, and procedures.
    • Develop and enforce data management standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related; Master's preferred.
  • At least [X] years in data architecture, analysis, and database management; proven experience with data modeling, ETL, and governance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Snowflake, Redshift.
  • Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, Nifi.
  • Data visualization with Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
  • Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
