**Electricity Transmission Network Revenue Model 2026 Overview**
The Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) has published information on the electricity transmission network allowed revenues and associated demand transmission use of system (D-TUoS) tariffs for the 2025/2026 tariff year.
Key highlights from the revenue model include a final 2026 allowed revenue of €1,389.79 million (nominal), leading to a tariff year revenue of €1,395.64 million.
This represents a decrease of circa 1.6% relative to the previous year's approved recovery amount of €1,412.08 million.
The tariff year revenue for 2025/26 shows an increase of circa 6.5% compared to the previous year's approved amount of €1,310.80 million.
This revenue model marks a transitional phase between the Price Review Five (PR5) decision and Price Review Six (PR6).
The CRU has considered and approved adjustments to the Draft Determination revenues, including provisions related to Article 13.7 of the Clean Energy Package and Security of Supply.
Transmission Average Unit Prices (AUPs) have been estimated for the 2025/2026 period, with a combined transmission and distribution AUP of 7.73 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh). This represents an increase of circa 6% relative to the current AUP.
The estimated impact on customer bills results in an increase of approximately €29 (or €2.40 per month) in the network element of a typical domestic customer's bill for the 2025/26 tariff year.
The D-TUoS tariffs are charged to suppliers, who may choose how or whether to pass them on to their customers.
A customer's annual bills depend on various factors, such as wholesale market costs, capacity market costs, and other system costs.
