Residential Construction Planner

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain detailed construction project schedules for residential developments using Asta Powerproject.
• Collaborate closely with the Construction Director, Project Managers, Site Managers, Design, and Commercial teams to synchronize schedules with design, procurement, and build strategies.
• Evaluate works logically, taking into account lead times, procurement timetables, statutory approvals, and utilities coordination specific to Irish residential projects.
• Identify critical paths, key milestones, and potential risks, proposing mitigation strategies where needed.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to verify lead times and integrate them into the schedule.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3–5 years' experience in planning within residential construction.
• An in-depth understanding of the Irish housebuilding process, from greenfield site to handover, including groundworks, utilities, timber frame/traditional build, and fit-out.
• Knowledge of Irish construction regulations, planning requirements, and BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations).
