Main Objective:

  • To effectively manage, develop, motivate and lead the administrative staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accounts department team, ensuring financial ledgers are accurately maintained and monthly accounting processes are strictly followed.
  • Provide overall leadership and supervision to the entire office team, ensuring efficient workload allocation and monitoring progress and performance.
  • Supervise office employees, including determining work priorities, maintaining productivity, controlling technology usage, and carrying out stock checks on equipment and materials as required.
  • Liaise with HR promptly, maintaining open communication and integrity.
  • Involvement in implementing new financial and operational systems, identifying potential risks, and advising Senior Management accordingly.
  • Coordinate issue escalation and provide Business Analysis to improve processes, productivity, and performance, supporting effective decision making.
  • Accountable for all tax and regulatory returns, managing relationships with external and internal auditors, tax advisors, and other professional advisors.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, weekly financial reports, and year-end accounts, evaluating and improving business operations to generate revenue and goodwill in each community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years PQE in a management role as an Accounts Technician or Accountant.
  • Results-driven, commercially astute, and revenue-focused, with excellent IT skills and experience.
  • Strong financial acumen is essential for this position, requiring the ability to think strategically and operationally, with strong organisational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
