Job Title: Skilled Electrical Specialist

Job Description:

At our Dublin-based office, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) equipment while ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety procedures.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to respond to fault reports and call outs within agreed service levels and consistently deliver as requested by the Service Delivery Manager. They will also be responsible for completing any planned ITS equipment maintenance activities and routine electrical testing and inspections on associated equipment.

Additionally, the successful candidate will need to ensure that new project work installations are completed to a high standard and safe practices are followed at all times. They will also need to ensure that all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to the task and in line with the Risk Assessment Method Statement (RAMS) is being correctly worn.

The role requires the candidate to be available to attend training courses and toolbox talks, whether they are locally or nationally based.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A full driver's licence
  • Experience in an electrical installation and maintenance
  • Willingness to learn and undertake new challenges
  • Ability to work independently, at height and as part of a team
  • Availability to work on a standby / callout rota / shift rota
  • Safe Pass, CSCS Signing, Lighting and Guarding (an advantage)
