Job Responsibilities

This position supports the end-to-end financial accuracy of procurement and Supply Chain activities by strengthening financial oversight of procurement and SCM operations through cost control, process compliance, and value optimization across departments.

  • Foster alignment with cost control, process compliance, and value optimization initiatives to enhance financial control, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Ensure timely resolution of aged GRIR items by coordinating with buyers, Accounts Payable shared service teams, and internal and external warehouse teams.

Financial Operations & Controls:

Manage the Goods Received / Invoice Received (GRIR) process by tracking and clearing aged items.

Coordinate with buyers, Accounts Payable shared service teams, and internal and external warehouse teams to ensure timely resolution.

Validate and support warehouse transactions that impact cash flow and AP timeliness.

Approve Purchase Order requests ensuring correct GL and Cost Centre coding, alignment with budget, and compliance with internal control processes.

Verify Capital Expenditure purchase requisition requests are supported with quotes, align with approved budgets, and are assigned to the correct general ledger accounts and cost centres.

Key Skills and Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance or procurement operations role is required. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including shared service centers, is preferred.

A strong working knowledge of GRIR processes, PO lifecycle, and capital project controls is essential.

Candidates should possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

An understanding of cost analysis, logistics-related spend reporting, and budget development is highly desirable.
