As a key member of the ward team, you will provide high-quality administrative support, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining accurate patient records, coordinating administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries and direct visitors to patients as needed.
  • Assist with bed management, verifying and updating computer systems accordingly.
  • Coordinate transport and appointments for patients due for discharge.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and stationery, ensuring a well-organized workspace.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of five Leaving Certificate subjects at grade D or higher.
  • Strong administrative skills, including accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures, particularly those related to infection control and hygiene.
