Community Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced nursing professional to join our team as a dedicated community nurse in the greater Munster region of Ireland. This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training adult and pediatric patients and/or their carers to facilitate self-administration of medication
  • Administration of required IV/IM/SC injections and oral therapies to patients, adhering to highest clinical and ethical standards
  • Carry out all required activities, including wound care and catheter care
  • Timely electronic reporting of each visit, as agreed with the client and your Nursing Manager
  • Maintenance of accurate and detailed records, as agreed with the client and your Manager
  • Recognise and report immediately any untoward events on a patient visit, as outlined by your Nurse Manager
  • Assess specific changes in the patient's condition as a result of new or ongoing treatments and take immediate appropriate action

The ideal candidate will be flexible and available to travel nationwide with some overnight stays required. They must have demonstrable IV therapy experience, effective administration skills, good time management skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build good rapport with new contacts. Our dedicated community nurses play a vital role in providing high-quality standard nursing care in the community.
