We are recruiting a Health & Safety Manager to oversee health and safety coordination across our organisation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures and plans. A key focus will be on reducing potential risks and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development: Manage and maintain the company's health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Plan Creation: Develop all health and safety plans to align with current legislations.
  • Site Coordination: Coordinate all health and safety activities on various sites.
  • Team Management: Manage and coordinate health and safety officers and advisors.
  • Accident Reporting: Ensure that regular site visits and inspections are completed and the relevant paperwork is completed.
  • Risk Mitigation: Ensure that all accidents/incidents are dealt with appropriately and plans are made to avoid these situations.
  • Audit Liaison: Liaise with internal and external auditors in regards to health and safety processes within the company.
  • Training Delivery: Prepare and coordinate training for all employees.
  • Meeting Attendance: Attend meetings with senior management and site meetings.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Health and safety degree or qualification.
  • Experience: 5 years plus experience in a similar position.
  • Leadership: Able to manage a health and safety team.
  • Communication: Excellent communicator.
  • Certification: NEBOSH cert.
  • Technical Skills: Confident in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Licence: Full driving licence.

This role requires a self-motivated individual who can deliver quality work, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
