We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our team in a fast-growing, cutting-edge company that specializes in robotics and precision automation.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming and robot integration, with experience in designing systems for high-speed manufacturing or precision machinery. A degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, programming, and implementation of PLC control systems for bespoke machines and robotic systems.
  • Support automation upgrades and commissioning for production and assembly lines.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and robot integration.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols, control panels, and system safety.
  • A practical mindset with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to client sites across Ireland and the UK.
