Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to lead our team in environmental impact assessment projects. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for coordinating environmental inputs and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. You will have the chance to collaborate with experienced teams and mentor junior staff, while driving environmental considerations into project designs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate environmental inputs for impact assessment projects;
  • Evaluate and ensure adherence to regulations and standards;
  • Provide expert advice and collaborate with diverse teams;
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional growth.

Requirements:

  1. A third-level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or a related discipline;
  2. Minimum 7+ years relevant experience preferred;
  3. Strong expertise in environmental impact assessments and planning;
  4. Strong knowledge of relevant Irish and European planning and environmental legislation, guidelines, and regulatory frameworks;
  5. Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;
  6. Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
