Stock Transport Coordinator

Job Role:

  • As a Stock Transport Coordinator, you will play a key role in the transportation of stock to and from various retail sites.
  • You will oversee a team of stock counters, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Responsibilities include organizing the transportation schedule, managing the movement of stock between locations, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
  • You will also be responsible for escalating any issues related to the transportation of stock in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Additionally, you will need to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure that all stock is accounted for and transported safely.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • A valid Full Driving License is required for this role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Quick learning skills are also required due to the fast-paced nature of the business environment.
  • Previous experience in handling stock or working in a warehouse environment would be beneficial but is not necessary.

Benefits:

  • This role offers a competitive hourly rate of 14.35ph plus enhancements.
  • Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores, with travel varying on a shift-by-shift basis.
  • Certain locations may have minibus transport provided free of charge.

Requirements:

  • Must follow correct processes when notifying count team of pick-up points and timings for each shift.
  • Be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock.
