Job Title: Textile Department Manager

The primary job function is to lead the department, ensuring exceptional customer care, operational standards, maximising sales and profitability, while maintaining costs and controlling stock levels.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering key performance indicators for the department and subsequent targets
  • Ensuring delivery of operational principles and customer service standards
  • Leading the team to achieve business strategies
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring the right choice and levels of product to drive sales
  • Implementing department brand standards
  • Coaching the team on sales, product availability, stock control, merchandising & display standards, variation prevention, pricing, ticketing, inventory, hygiene, and customer service

Requirements:

Able to communicate effectively, coach, and lead the team. Strong customer focus, organisational and time management skills, commercial mind-set, problem-solving & decision-making, visual merchandising skills, people management skills, IT skills, and experience as a leader in a fast-paced retail environment and customer-focused business (preferable).
