About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of audits, supervising staff on assignment, and acting as the main point of client contact whilst onsite.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services audit, with experience working with global accountancy firms. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor assistants and ensure assignments are run within time and resource requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, execution, and completion of audits
- Supervising staff on assignment
- Acting as the main point of client contact whilst onsite
- Directing the preparation and completion of reports, accounts, and financial statements
- Advising a client portfolio predominantly within the Financial Services sector
Requirements:
- Fully qualified (ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent)
- At least 3 years External Audit experience from a global accountancy firm
- Financial services audit experience is advantageous but essential
