As a seasoned sales professional, you will be instrumental in fostering enduring relationships with key customers and contractors. Your role entails driving revenue growth through effective customer interactions, strategic planning, and timely delivery of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bolster and maintain strong partnerships with customers and contractors.
  • Promote products and services via regular visits and communication.
  • Upsell additional offerings such as hire equipment and plumbing supplies.
  • Prepare and present quotations and account plans to meet sales targets.
  • Ensure adherence to payment terms and manage debt collection effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Accurately record visits and customer interactions.
  • Address product or service claims in line with established guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in building materials sales or B2B sales within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of building materials; knowledge of plumbing products is an asset.
  • Experience working with building contractors and specifiers.
  • A third-level qualification in construction or business is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Commercial acumen and analytical thinking.
  • Proficiency in IT and data handling.
