General Operative Job Opening

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working individual to join our team as a General Operative. This role involves supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and store, handling stock, assisting customers, and working alongside our delivery drivers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Loading and preparing orders for delivery or collection.
  • Receiving and storing stock items in an organised manner.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and well-structured working environment.
  • Supporting drivers with collections and offloading deliveries.
  • Operating power tools and warehouse machinery (forklift licence required).
  • Reporting discrepancies and following health & safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or similar setting is beneficial.
  • A valid forklift licence is mandatory.
  • The ability to lift and move heavy items safely is essential.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills are necessary.
  • Comfortable using warehouse systems and databases (training provided).
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work in a team is required.
