We are seeking an experienced Child Disability Specialist Psychologist to join our team in Dublin South. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological services to children and families within the region, with a focus on child disability.

Job Description

You will work closely with other professionals to assess and intervene with children accessing the Early Intervention service as appropriate. Your expertise in child disability will be invaluable in developing and implementing plans that support the needs of children and their families.

To succeed in this role, you will have a recognized university degree or diploma in psychology, a postgraduate professional qualification in clinical or educational psychology, and extensive experience working with children with disabilities and their families. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing psychological services to children and families within the region, with a focus on child disability
  • Working with other professionals to assess and intervene with children accessing the Early Intervention service
  • Developing and implementing plans that support the needs of children and their families
Requirements
  • Recognized university degree or diploma in psychology
  • Postgraduate professional qualification in clinical or educational psychology
  • Extensive experience working with children with disabilities and their families
