Automotive Trade Development Professional

As a motor vehicle apprentice, you will receive comprehensive training and development opportunities. The program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to undertake repairs and servicing of motor vehicles, detect and diagnose faults for further repairs, and ensure all work is completed safely in line with manufacturers' and industry guidelines.
The apprenticeship duration is a minimum of 4 years, with seven alternating phases of training: four on-the-job and three off-the-job. On successful completion, you will receive a FETAC/QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft, recognized nationally and internationally.
Responsibilities- The Motor Vehicle Apprentice Program trains individuals to diagnose and repair complex motor vehicle issues.
- Apprentices must possess a keen interest in motor vehicles and demonstrate excellent analytical and methodical skills.
- They should also have a high regard for customer care and professionalism, and be willing to commit to the apprenticeship and pursue a career as a Motor Technician.
- Minimum grades in English, Maths, and a science-based subject (as required).
- A full, clean Irish or EU driving licence (essential).
- Industry-leading training and progression plans.
- Toolbox Allowance and Uniform Provided.
- Bike to Work Scheme.
- 20 days Annual Leave.
