Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and maintenance teams.

Main Purpose of the Job

The primary objective of this role is to support the General Manager in achieving hotel revenue and profit growth by maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and provide accurate and timely advice on company policies, health and safety, and legal requirements.
  • Oversee all engineering activities within the hotel, including mechanical and electrical services, fire protection, and lifts.
  • Manage service contracts, including energy supplies, grounds maintenance, and building repairs.
  • Design, procure, and deliver operational projects in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Act as Fire Marshall and be familiar with emergency procedures and alarms.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, management) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
