Job Title: Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner for Falls, Syncope and Dizziness Management
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing safe and timely nurse-led care to patients experiencing falls, syncope, and dizziness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care: Undertake and document complete episodes of patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, treating, and discharging patients.
- Practice independently and autonomously: Make complex decisions and demonstrate leadership in the delivery of advanced nursing care.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments: Synthesise and interpret assessment information, and develop autonomous advanced nursing care plans that meet individual patient needs.
- Lead clinical teams: Provide clinical leadership, professional scholarship, and inform the development of evidence-based health policy at local, regional, and national levels.
- Contribute to research: Participate in nursing research that shapes and advances nursing practice, education, and healthcare policy at local, national, and international levels.
Requirements:
- Education and experience: Be a Registered Nurse or Midwife on the NMBI Active Register, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in falls, syncope, and dizziness management.
- Qualifications: Possess a postgraduate qualification in cardiology care.
- Skills and qualifications: Maintain active annual registration on the Advanced Nurse Practitioner Division of the register and have a high standard of suitability and clinical, professional, and administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the role.
