Job Description:

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with their daily needs. You will contribute to ensuring effective and consistent best-practice standards are followed in our accommodation services. We offer an induction program and provide 10 training days throughout the year to ensure your success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality support and be committed to empowering individuals to achieve their goals. You will work collaboratively with project/key workers and management to implement operational and strategic goals, including following up on support plan actions and supporting service users to achieve their objectives.

You will build professional relationships of trust with all service users and residents, treating them with dignity and respect. You will also provide therapeutic and diversionary interventions, promoting positive mental health attitudes, self-esteem, and self-respect.

In addition, you will liaise with various service providers, establish and expand services to meet physical and mental health needs, deliver personal, professional, and social development programs, and assist with managing medication/health regimes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will possess NFQ level 7 qualifications in a relevant field and 6 months of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications and experience. They will also demonstrate flexibility to work in an agile environment, a willingness to learn, and experience in carrying out Health & Safety inspections and audits.
