Clinical Technologist Radiographer Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Technologist Radiographer to perform and assist with various activities associated with the use of radioactive substances in patient investigation and treatment.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Radionuclide Imaging and Organ Uptake Measurements: Perform and analyze complex investigations, including quantitative image data analysis.
  • In-Vitro Studies: Conduct GFR tests and analyze data.
  • Data Analysis: Prepare and analyze data for clinical reporting.
  • Training and Supervision: Supervise and train junior technologist staff.
  • Radiopharmaceuticals: Dispense, assay, and administer diagnostic and therapy doses.
  • Continuing Professional Development: Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide expertise in research and development programs, and evaluate new procedures and equipment.
  • User Maintenance: Maintain nucleonic equipment for radionuclide imaging and organ uptake measurements.
Requirements:
  • Diploma of the College of Radiographers or degree in Physics, Radiography, Applied Physics, or other relevant subject.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Healthcare Science, including Nuclear Medicine.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
