Job Overview

As an Electrical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of electrical systems on various projects.

  • Supervise a team of electrical engineers to ensure timely and quality completion of electrical systems
  • Suggest design modifications to improve cost efficiency, facilitate construction schedules, and enhance specifications
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and oversee construction to ensure quality workmanship and materials
  • Coordinate with contracts manager, site engineers, and other discipline leads to ensure subcontractors receive timely information
  • Review drawings and specifications, communicate errors or omissions to design team, and determine project resource needs

Key Qualifications

A degree in electrical or building services engineering

At least 7 years of experience in a similar role, with experience working on data centre projects and leading MEP teams being beneficial

Essential Skills

Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Packages

Ability to work to strict deadlines and lead the project team to deliver high-quality results
