Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a homely and comfortable community setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate decision-making, independence, and personal development for service users.
  • Provide daily living support, including personal hygiene, health, and appearance.
  • Work collaboratively to meet individual care plans and goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 7 qualification in Applied Social Studies or equivalent.
  • Registered with the Social Care Workers Registration Board by CORU (or in process).
  • QQI Level 5 (8 modules) in Healthcare or equivalent.
  • Hold a full Irish driving license.
  • Prior experience in social care or healthcare.
  • Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
