Job Overview
The ideal candidate will drive sales performance by creating an atmosphere geared to achieving sales and key performance indicators. This includes empowering others to be strategic in their roles, analyzing and reviewing goals to develop strategies to improve performance, and maximizing opportunities for makeup services.
Key responsibilities include ensuring staff deliver consistent and excellent customer service, resolving internal and external customer issues and requests in a timely manner, and utilizing a customer relationship management system to develop customer loyalty programs for product launches, events, and appointments in conjunction with the brand's customer program.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining clear and specific communication when collaborating with others inside and outside of the organization, conducting regular coaching sessions to communicate objectives, set goals, and review progress, and listening openly to others and responding appropriately.
The successful candidate will also look for opportunities to develop artist capabilities in artistry and commercial drivers, perform thorough and timely staff reviews in accordance with brand guidelines where necessary, and create and maintain an atmosphere of open and positive communication, professionalism, and creativity.
Furthermore, the role requires assisting the Store Manager with cash loss prevention procedures and security policies, preparing and maintaining accurate cycle counts and inventory as required, following and implementing corporate visual presentation standards and guidelines, preserving merchandising, display, and counter hygiene standards and guidelines at all times, and ensuring understanding of retail partner and company security policies.
Essential qualifications include strong networking skills in the local area and a track record of implementing brand internal and external events, promoting an environment where people feel encouraged to express their needs and opinions, recognizing and celebrating success, demonstrating excellent time management, punctuality, and grooming, and leading by example.
Proven experience in managing a team in a fast-paced retail environment is preferred, along with strong people management, development, and leadership skills, effective communication to cascade information to teams, and a passion for the beauty industry and its trends.
